What is the Best Video Game system out now? also what is with the xbox 360 arcade?

What is better the xbox 360 or the PS3? I have had a wii and other than games you play with other people it is not something you can play first person shooter games on. Also what does the xbox360 arcade system not have and what are the drawbacks of not having a big harddrive. Can I still save the progress on games?

Talk to a salesperson in a store in your area that sells all of this. They can help you.

My favorite is the Wii, and 360.

The thing about an arcade 360 is that you do not have a hard drive. This basically means you can’t save like more than 1 game onto your xbox…

If you bought an arcade, and still wanted to save data, you could always go out and buy a harddrive for like $80-90.

You are not really losing out in any way – just the regular 360 comes with a hard drive, and the arcade doesnt. You’ll have to buy one.

Also, regular 360 comes with 2 full games (Ult. Alliance and some other racing game). They alrite games, but I dont play em.

Arcade comes with like 5 arcade games, but those probably wouldn’t be that good either.

Don’t buy elite unless you’re rich and going to buy like 50 games so you can store them on your xbox…

So I would look for regular 360, and if they dont have it, buy an arcade and a hard drive.

    Hope this helped!

The arcade, was meant to get people started on the xbox 360 if they were short on money. Meaning if the have the money in the future, then can gather the hard drive at a later moment. The only big draw-back is if you want to have music, movies and alot of games (Approx. 10 or more.) You can save on the Arcade version since it does come with a memory card, which I believe is 256MB or more, can’t remember fully (I heard that it came with a memory card, but I could be wrong.)

So far the Xbox 360 is better, since it has a more variety of games to choose from (I’m not taking sides of the whole video game systems wars.) So, you’ll have plenty of games to choose from.

The PS3 is still developing to become a big console, it isn’t so good yet, since it doesn’t have the many games, but should have some good ones coming by the end of this year.

Never ask a sales men whats better,Most of the time they never even played one,or even have one,A person that has Experience playing both is the best person to talk to.I have a 360,and a PS3,and I have xbox live that has the arcade.I like both,They are both good, and they are both bad in some ways. The 360 tends to have problems, and then you have to send it to Microsoft to fix it,Mine broke 3 times in 3 years,so that’s not good. And the xbox live is 50 bucks for the year so that’s not to bad.Theres lots of old and new arcade games to download for a price, but there are alot of free ones to.As for games everyone thinks the 360 has better games and there wright. As of now.PS3 has less games because they are coming out with alot more games and they will be better.Because it takes a longer time to make a better game. And the 360 games will come to the PS3 anyway,Except halo.I like halo but its not that good as people say,Online is fun.The PS3 is also a blue ray player, that’s 500 bucks alone, and the 360 noooo.PS3 is a better bang for your buck, and it does not brake.I had my PS2 for 12 years and nothing ever happend. And the 360 you have to bye the extra things for it and that’s more money. So if you like the arcade get the 360.Any thing else PS3.hands down.Have a good day

Here’s the basic rundown of your three 360 choices:

    Arcade Version: roughly $280
    No Hard Drive
    256 MB Memory card
    One Wireless Controller (white)
HDMI Port, but cord is sold separately
PROS: cheaper, plays all 360 games, comes with 5 arcade games
CONS: is not backwards compatible unless you buy a hard drive, your memory card will not last long if you have large save games from games like Halo 3, no HDMI cord, no network cable, No headset

    XBOX 360 roughly $350
    20 GB Hard drive
    One wireless controller white
Newer ones have HDMI ports, but no cord
    Headset white
    Network Cable
PROS: hard drive means backwards compatability, the hard drive is large enough for most gamers, unless you want to keep your entire music collection on it or download tons of stuff (I have yet to fill mine up)
    CONS: no HDMI cable,

    XBOX 360 Elite roughly $450
    Black
    120 GB Hard Drive black
    One wireless controller black
    headset black
    HDMI port and cable
    Network Cable
PROS: large hard drive can hold more stuff
CONS: unless you need a bigger hard drive, the $100 price increase just isn’t worth it, I personally don’t like that it’s black.

The main drawbacks of not having a hard drive with the arcade are that you don’t have a lot of room to save your games, and without a hard drive, your 360 won’t be backwards compatible. You will only be able to play 360 games, not original xbox games. Also, you will only be able to play the arcade games that come with it, as you won’t be able to download any of the arcade games onto your memory card.

The Wii now has the zapper which connects your nunchuk and controller so you have a one piece controller you can use for first person shooters.
